Welcome to the Wireless Optical Communication Conference 2008! We are delighted to announce that the 17th annual WOCC event will take place in Taiwan for the second time since 2004. As the Chairman of the conference, I am honored to invite you to the beautiful center of Taiwan, where professionals with multimedia expertise from around of the world will be sharing their experience and information during a two-day conference on April 23rd and April 24th, 2008.
This time we will be focusing on "Ubiquitous Networks Society", a theme that outlines an "always-on" society where IT and communication technologies will allow anyone with a computer or terminal device to connect to internet at any time, at any place, for anything.
This conference has been an important platform for creating discussions and collaborations on the wireless & optical communication technologies, industry developments and future trends among experts from the U.S., China, Hong Kong, Korea, Japan, Singapore and many more.
We hope that this conference will bring out high quality presentations and papers as well as create new cooperation opportunities in research and business while furthering the development of the telecommunications industry.
